The Month of the Jaguar is a festival organized by Panthera, dedicated to celebrating, educating and promoting jaguar culture in all its expressions.
The jaguar is a central figure in Latin American culture, it symbolizes strength, power, beauty, and mystery among many other things. The objective of the Month of the Jaguar is that through different artistic expressions and platforms the bond we have with this special animal is strengthened and a greater awareness of its ecological and cultural importance is achieved.
In this third edition of the Month of the Jaguar, we want to invite more organizations and academic institutions to join in these efforts and together celebrate Jaguar Culture throughout Latin America. Although most of this year's events will be virtual, we believe that together we can achieve widespread awareness and make Month of the Jaguar 2021 a success.
